Temp sender issue

So my old temp sender went out and i replaced it with one from napa and the gauge reads high all the time so i ordered a new one from rock auto and the same thing is happening. does anyone know where i can get one that will work with orignal temp gauge?

look on your old sender and the ohms is listed if not find out what they are on the one you installed and go next range higher. First make sure that the temp really is too high. Use a Infa-Red thermometer to measure the temp at the sender. Sender could be right.
