The dreaded click

The wife and I drove the challenger to church today. Church was over and we got in the car and turn the key and yes the dreaded click happened.Knew just what it was.So I got out and found a hammer,hit the starter and off we went. It was the easiest starter Ive ever changed. I guess thats how it is when its a 318 with stock exhaust LOL But I sure do miss the 440 6pack with headers and the fight that comes with changing the starter.

The brushes are going in the starter. It's time to replace it.

make sure all the battery cables & connections are clean & tight , green death inside the battery able can lower the voltage enough to prevent it starting
