I am looking to change the wheel & tire combo on my 1970 Cuda. It currently has 225/50/16 front and 245/50/16 rear and can't decide between 15" or 17" wheels. I am leaning toward the 17x9 Year One Rallye wheels and try to fit a 245/55/17 front and 275/55/17 rear. I have 3 objectives with this change.
1. Get away from the odd 16" tire size.
2. Get a taller tire to help with RPMs.
3. Get a wider tire to help with traction.

I have searched the forum for hours looking at different post but don't find many FC7 Cudas with after market wheel. I would like to see some your FC7 Cudas with non OEM style wheels.

Thanks in advance!

Just did the year one rally's on my challenger. They are 11 inches wide at all four corners on a 9 inch rim. They are only a 1/4 inch shorter than the 235/60r15 they replaced. No rubbing anywhere. I used Nitto 555 G2 270/40r17's on it. You can go to their website and they have height and width on all their tires to help with your decision. I have also used the tire spec section on tire rack but they don't sell all brands. Hope this helps
