I have a 70 Barracuda. When I bought the car, the driver side window would not go down. When I opened up the door panel, I found half the teeth on the large gear were totally missing. I installed an aftermarket regulator. When I installed it I noticed it was hard to roll up the window but easy to roll it down. I tried making all types of adjustment but nothing helped.I noticed that the teeth on this new regulator is wearing the teeth down in the same place as the original regulator. I found an original regulator on ebay. I don't want to install the new regulator and have the samething happen. Is there a simple adjustment that will solve this problem? Thanks
