Looking at your pictures, I'm not so sure about "topping" you! Your work looks amazing my friend! I would love to see more. Do you have a build thread going here?
 
No build thread here, finished my car in 2009. I've been thinking of posting a before and after with some in-betweens but have yet to do so. In the meantime I'll keep myself entertained watching your thread.

I'm glad my thread entertains you! Now if it would only entertain me...

I'm preparing to head back into the shop after a fairly lengthy break away from the car for sanity's sake. It's the only reason I've had time to spend going through photos and starting the thread.

Thanks for the link to your photos. I'll second what rbbruno3 just said - fantastic job...
 
Been there, done that as far as burned out! Very gratifying at the end - that's coming your way.
 
I just put all my expenses for my Challenger in an excel spreadsheet. I was putting it off cause I knew I wouldn't like the answer but I had to know how much I have spent on the car this far. It was more than I expected. It was a bit depressing considering the car isn't done yet. Was suppose to be a quick and cheap rebuild. I came on here to look around and I am glad I did. It has brightened my evening up looking at all of the nice cars.

Back on topic. I've been the the Woodward Cruise once, but I was on my motorcycle and for a person that knew nothing about it the event was kind of confusing but enjoyable.

My first Challenger was F8 Green and I’m still partial to it . Hoping to finish up my F8 Challenger Convertible this year but funds are tight , I am planning to attend the WDC, this year, went once a few years back and didn’t realize the magnitude of it , definitely looking forward to it
 
Ok so I don’t watch gyc, I tried once some time ago and confirmed what I had heard about it on the forums by most. Last night I put it on and caught the last 20 minutes as there was nothing else on. That’ll be the last time I tune in, I don’t even know where to start...
 
I've been away from the forum for awhile, but this tread caught my interest for a couple of reasons. First, the OP had posted on one of my treads on another forum because I was asking questions about converting my '73 into a '70. I told him then, and still stand behind what I said there, which is if you love it, keep it and drive it. Second, I see some pictures of F8 green cars, which I have a soft spot for since I owned a '72 Challenger (pictured below) in that color. To this day it is the sexest car that I have owned. It is the memories of that car that inspired me to get another Challenger. Third, Mr Worman and GYC. I live about an hour from his shop, and have yet to decide if I want to see it. Being that close I have talked to a couple people that have met him and the crew, and they both say that what you see on TV is not the people that you get in person. By all accounts, they are very personable. That said, there is no need to talk trash about a year of car that he personally does not like. While the later cars do not get the love of some of the earlier years, they are still better looking then the vast majority of anything produced today. While I am still going to convert my car, I will never say anything bad about any E body/ Mopar, regardless of year. They all have a certain beauty to me.

I work at 14 and Coolidge. Love seeing all the cars go by around the dream cruis week.
