Since I’m going to do a color change on the car, I need to remove the glass out my 1973 Cuda doors. I’ve checked YouTube for any videos that could give me a good step by step guide to get this done. Haven’t found one yet. Not a hard job but it helps to ask questions first to sidestep any potential glass shattering issues.
I searched this site and didn’t find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

DO seek out a factory service manual, for any of the 1970-74 years, as the procedure will be more or less the same.

Unless you force or pound on something, broken glass is unlikely.

While it may be an easy job, I don't recall ever finding or following a procedure. But I can add this:

taking the window glass out, and R&Ring the window track and regulator, is among the most frustrating things I have done on my car. I recall my forearms and fingers getting cut up (by the openings in the door) in the process. This may be the task I detest the most on these cars.

Instead of taking the door glass out, I'd spray the glass with WD40 and just roll them down when painting! Then clean them up with Windex. Like @pschlosser said, too many cuts and scraps to R&R the window glass if you don't have too! Heck, don't put anything on the glass, roll them down, paint and roll them back up and remove any over spray with a rag wet with Acetone (wear thick rubber gloves)!
