Hello,

I am currently restoring my father's 1970 challenger rt. The drivers door is original and the passenger door is not. The lower character lines at the front of the doors are different. The driver door character line at the at the front is almost a inch higher then the passenger door. Is there a difference in character lines between a 1970 and the following years? Any information is greatly appreciated.

The drivers door is correct - the line gets higher at the front when compared to the bottom edge of the door skin.
It is also very sharp at the back and becomes more of a "roll" as it gets further forward on the door skin.
The rear quarter crease is sharp the fender one is not.
The whole body tapers to the front of the car like a big wedge in two dimensions as you go to the front - fantastic lines and work by the original designers.
