I am starting a restoration on a 1971 Tor-red 340 4 speed international export Cuda. The car was originally bought in Omaha at Jim Earp Dodge by a guy in the Navy. He took the car to multiple countries in Europe and North Africa and I do still have a few of the original titles from a couple of the countries. After the car returned from Europe he drove it only for a few years and then turned it into a drag car. The original interior is amazing shape as it was all removed in the mid 70s. The plan currently is to put a TKO-600 in the car along with a Strange Dana 60, modernize the interior, and possibly stroke the 340 to 416. I will try to update this page throughout the process.

Welcome to the site. Looks like you have a pretty solid body as a starting point for your restoration. Good luck and keep us posted with pics.

Good starting point and what a cool history the car has. Good luck on the build. Can't wait to see how it goes for you.

Finally making progress on the car. Pulled the rest of the window trim off, removed the motor and trans, and now car is waiting at the frame shop to have the drivers side frame rail repaired. Also got all of the sheet metal ordered and recieved. Having a few issues with the AMD fenders which will need aome attention. Has anyone else experienced problems with 71 Cuda fenders from AMD?

Nice progress in a short time.
Looking Good!

(Noticed the car still had 70's Goodyear Polyglass on rallyes)
