Looking for my 1970 challenger I bought new in 1971 340 4 speed hemi orange black top bumblebee stripe
Was bought new from city motors centralia wa
Please help me I've been looking for 30 years

Was a young kid so I have no record of serial number
Pictures of the car but none of license plate
Just hoping someone knows something I can go with

I think there has to be a way to get some government/insurance documentation of the car that you registered/insured under your name in 1971.
I am not too familiar with the different branches of the government in the US but in Canada, one can go to a "Motor Vehicle branch" (somewhat like the DOT) and obtain information on registration of an older car, as I did a few years ago for an old Caddy.
Other members could have more specific info on this.

I have and they only go back to 1975
And I traded it in 1974

And you have no ways available to you to contact the person you traded the car with...
Did you trade your car for another car that was registered to the seller?
