I thought about it, but I don't understand why a kit is needed, (or conversion) when you put the shifter in manual mode, its just 2 microswitches that needs to be pressed for up and downshift, very easy to do, no extra electronics needed really... except for the paddles of course.
Maybe those kits just plugs in to the CAN bus and control the tranny from there... no wiring needed.

Like I posted, there are several articles on line. I read that the Mercedes paddles are very inexpensive. I think that it needs some form of wireless communication between the paddles and the trans.
