Advice on 74 challenger 360 4spd

My thoughts exactly. Glad you picked it up. Congrats.
Live with the Panther Pink, fix the stuff to make the car mechanically sound, correct the body issues and paint later on. Sounds like a good plan.

If I’m reading the date code properly - this is from the 80’s? Tranny must have been replaced at some point
 
Looks to be an aluminum cased overdrive unit.
