Hello all. Long time Mopar fan. My grandpa was a Chrysler/Plymouth dealer in Olympia, Washington in the late 40’s and 50’s. My dad still owns his 1952 Chrysler Saratoga with the first gen Hemi 331 that he drove new off the railroad delivery car. I own 39 and 40 Plymouth trucks, 49 Plymouth Convertible, Coupe and 2 door wagon, 68 Charger R/T,

a 72 Scamp and a 2009 Challenger R/T Classic B5 Blue six speed. My latest addition to the garage is a two owner 70 Challenger R/T 383/727 column shift in Burnt Orange interior and exterior. Bought by a High School junior in 1975, he drove it until 1982 and then parked it. He died a few years ago, and after a couple of years of persuading, his daughter finally agreed to sell the car. The original 383 is gone, but it came with three 440 blocks. I have a running 383 that I will be mating to the original 727 once my tranny guy is done with the overhaul. I found the broadcast sheet under the passenger seat. It came with rallye wheels, so I just bought a set to replace the Cragar SS unilugs that he had installed.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! My favorite interior color is Burnt Orange and FK5 ranks pretty high as a paint color too!

I must admit that un-objectively I love a burnt orange 70 RT Challenger!

Welcome to FEBO from New Jersey
You have some very cool vehicles
Building up a burnt orange Challenger RT will be a fun project.
I am also a fan of old trucks You never see pre-war Plymouth trucks- Love it!
Looking forward to pics on your work on the Challenger.

Thanks, the grey 40 Plymouth is on a 94 Dakota frame with a 318 and 5 speed. The red 39 Plymouth is stock.
I’ve wanted a Burnt Orange car for a while. I’m looking forward to getting this one back on the road.

Making progress. As the broadcast sheet indicated Rallye wheels, I ordered a set to replace the Cragars.
