Finally getting some progress done on the super shaker. I have to do some final mounting steps. Quick release Dzus fasteners for scoop removal. Then it's off to paint, satin black for the scoop and blue for the hood

I know you are going to say "It's too late", but what if you super-scaled an original shaker...like 130% , by computer scanning it, then 3D print it. It would give you a master that still looks correct, then create and build off of that. My 2 cents.

Love it , the shaker was restrictive even stock , the grill inserts hurt the flow even more

Mocked it up on the car this weekend for final mounting before final paint. I like it.

I fabbed up some tubular valve cover rails with support plates to be able to use Dzus slide lock fasteners. The base clips and locks to the mounts the scoop clips and locks to the base. All goes on and can be removed in 10 seconds for servicing or at the cruise nights.

As you see I’m pretty new here. Love the car. I know the post is from 12. Have you made it to testing yet? And how’d she go??
When I posted from the phone, later pics came up. My mistake. Bad ass car!

I checked out this thread from the beginning and that is a very intense build going on there. I see there is no expense spared. Love the parachute mount. Any every other part on it. I have an old pro stock hemi and in the middle of restoring my 71 #s car and I keep thinking about sticking it in there but I can't molest it being a #s car. 1st challenger that I owned actually. All my other cars are a bodies and thats not easy with the D-5 heads but I will eventually cut 1 of them up. Your car is my dream build tho. Kinda makes me want to find another e body just for the hemi. I do feel sorry for your wallet. Lol.
I'm sure the look on your face during the maiden run will pay you back. Hope to see some videos when that day comes.

I got the scoop all mounted up. Can't wait to get the hood back home and on the car on Sunday.
