I found a Shaker Hood For my Challenger this weekend. Now I need to find a Hemi shaker base plate & scoop to cut up & modify to make a drop base to fit the Dual Dominator carbs. Anyone have a Fiberglass or steel reproduction laying around?

I just ordered the baseplate, adapter ring, seal and scoop. I know it is going to be a lot of work. I think it will look cool when it's finished.

I received my shaker scoop, base plate, outer adapter ring & lid today. Let the cutting & hacking begin.

Finally got out in the garage to work on the latest project a little. I had to reconfigure my outboard fogger around a little & lean the solenoids in a little to clear. I made all of my templates to start making my dual Dominator tunnel ram shaker conversion Time to start hacking on the parts now.

Awesome build , lost about 4 years in the middle somewhere , hopefully nothing too serious delaying the build up . Are you still adding twin turbos to the mix ?

LOL. Yes, a divorce put a delay on things. Good thing was I kept the kids, the house , the toys (cars) etc but also got stuck with all of the bills.... Yes, it is taking a lot longer than I was hoping. Still have the twin turbos but decided to go with the Nitrous build for now since I had all of that laying around. The Turbos will be on my next all aluminum K.B. Hemi Build (someday).

Finally got out into the garage a little . Got the scoop, hood and base stretched 3" & fitted all around eveything tp fit the dual dominators on a tunnel ram, sits nice. Even will still be able to use the seal to seal it all of to the hood. marked the scoop as it sits now to know how much of it stick thru as it is. Going to stretch the height next and then fiberglass it all back together.

I am thinking I may plumb one side of the nostrils for air to the rear carb & the other side for air to the front carb.

Worked on project Super Shaker a little more this weekend. Time to start fiberglassing it all back together next. Stretched the Nostril openings down slightly to see how it will looking from 2-1/2" tall openings to 4" tall openings.

Looks like you are going to have to put some serious curving on the back side of the scoop to get it to fit in the stock shaker hood opening. It's looking like a good start.

Haven't had much time to work on it lately but I did have to take it Sunday to the track for NHRA to do the re-cert. Good news is it passed the 25.5 (7.50 ET) re-cert. Now I just have to get the damn thing done & start making some passes.

Haven't had much time to continue on project super shaker lately but at least I can say I got to take it to the track now. LOL. Lack of funds creates lack of motivation. I took it Sunday to get it re-certed. That gave me the motivation to get back on the hood/scoop project hopefully this weekend. It looks pretty good outside of the garage... LOL

Thanks. I was going for the OEM stock look but race engine all at the same time. The black hose & fittings are so damn expensive but looks so much better than the stainless hose & blue/red fittings.

Not much to update. Rear end is built. New beadlock wheels. All the electronics are purchased, I made all the mounting plates with brackets to mount to the knee bar under the dash.

MSD grid. RACEPAK datalogger, 23 channels of data will be monitored. Custom built over head switch panel, fuse panel, 4 stage nitrous contoller by Speedwire. You don't want to know what all of this cost. Lol. Down to wiring the entire car from front to back. Will be cruising next summer for sure.
