cooling combo questions …

my future set up on my restoration is a moderately camed 69 383hp , auto . i converting my 74 cuda build from 318/auto . i need to purchase the correct cooling package . i have no fan , my buddy recommended running a solid steel fan . i need to know what diameter to order . i also need a appropriate radiator and shroud ? any recommendations appreciated. i have been source of parts from jegs and classic ind as available…

Best to go with the factory proven HD cooling system. Seven blade fan with clutch, shroud, and 26" radiator and you can't go wrong.

@moparlee just nailed it. Cheapest and easiest way to do what you what to do.

You can do a 22" triple high efficiency rad give you have the 22" opening but you still want a 17" clutch fan + shroud

sounds good . i have to measure my opening on my radiator support next visit to body shop . hopefully tonight or tomorrow. if i can use a 26 is a two core ok ?

Since your car was a non A/C car the radiator opening will only fit a 22" radiator and if you did want to fit a 26" radiator, you will loose 2" of cooling per side. I would do like Chryco Psycho said and buy a good 22" radiator.
