Has anyone used this OER kit to rebuild the front end? If not, is there a kit you would recommend?

Thanks,

The factory size is smaller diameter , the C body 11/16 are stronger / stiffer but bolt right in , the cost is similar , easy upgrade !

I believe Moog was one of the original vendors supplying suspension parts to Chrysler. So there's some originality there. 👍

Biggest issue with tie rod deflection is the slot in the sleeves, not the diameter of the threads. Use a solid 9/16 sleeve and you get the same improvement as changing to 11/16 system. Yes 11/16 is beefier than the original 9/16, and these days are the same cost, but the 9/16 units are capable of 5gs of loading before deformation, which is way more than you will ever deliberately encounter.

If you're running a stock car that gets banged around a lot, then bigger tie rods are a great idea.

I've always used PST kits for my full rebuild efforts. Was always a nice one-stop for everything purchase. Haven't picked upa kit from them in over a decade so not sure how they are these days. Never had any unusual problems with them that was any different than using any off the shelf parts form the local parts store. I've tried picking suspension parts up from Rock Auto, but 9 times out of 10, they contact me to say they are missing some to most of the parts I ordered.

Moog used to be the best, but has off-shored a lot of their manufacturing, which has made them about average these days.

Just did the PST upgrade in March. I am pleased and I upgraded to the solid tie rod sleeves. Made the front so tight that now I notice the back end wiggle. One stop shop. Got new upper control arms and had the ball joints pressed in before shipping. Got 10% off as well from their ad link here.
