Not good! Do you know what made them come from together? Hope the driver was O.K.

A friend many years ago blew the flywheel out of his '68 Z28. Had some hairline cracks in the flywheel and he thought it would be O.K.. NOT! Sawed the headers just like those, broke the block, cut the gas pedal, cut his boot, cut all the wires under the dash, and knocked a pie plate sized hunk of asphalt out of the Woodburn Drag strip. The shifter had his hand pinned against the seat. That was kinda bad because then he had to try and steer and stop one-handed as he drove through his own oil. CRAP!!! :eek: Got it stopped, he was O.K.

To race over here we have to have a flexplate/flywheel shield as well as a blanket. Now I can see why :eek:
