For my '73 Challenger I'm swapping the 318 with a built 383 (1969 casting). Anyone have knowledge of the most painless, yet effective headers to install? Thinking of clearance issues as well as performance. TIA

TTI headers but that is not a guarantee.

Schumaker shorty's would be the easy as well.

TTI makes different header for 440 & 383 unlike other companies , this keeps the header as close to the floor as possible as the 383 sits lower

I have the schumaker shorties as well. They are very easy. I am running a 522 stroker with them.
