Hi everybody! I posted a little while back in the tech forums on a question I had about an engine compartment tag (shameless plug, still not quite solved), thought it was about time to actually introduce myself. Long time reader, it's all great stuff!
I'm from a grain farm in central Ontario, grew up playing hockey, eating back- bacon, and processing Maple Syrup. All of that is true, although I don't say 'eh' quite as much as you might think.... OK I do.

I've been hooked on Mopars for a large part of my reasonably short-life, ever since my dad told me stories of the '72 Challenger 318 slapstick he drove in High School & some of University. I had one look at the pictures he had and the hunt was on. A couple years later we were welcoming a '74 Challenger Rallye home. Original 318, 3 speed manual, 8 3/4. It was all bark, no bite with KY5 Yellow Blaze paint, Black Vinyl Roof with strobe stripes and a Black interior. No power anything!
I love this thing to death, and we've been slowly restoring it ever since. I could only find a couple of pre- restoration pictures for now!

Here's the Basket Case. It's not sagging, that's the exhaust system hanging low.

Nobody ever said barns were supposed to be clean...

The plan is to bring it back to exacting factory appearance, with a hopped up 318 or 360 and a 4 speed.
Looking forward to asking questions (and maybe answering a few!) in the future!:hello:

I'll put up a post in the restorations section within a week or two once I pull most of the pictures off of various memory cards that are lying around. When my non-car friends ask me where the car is at I like to have them imagine a car as disassembled as you could possibly get it, and then multiply that by 2 :laughing7:
