I have a set of Indy 452 heads with less then 5000 miles and the guides are shot!! car started gulping oil (1 qt in 150 miles)
pulled the valve covers and all the umbrella seals were stuck up in the springs!!
I called Indy and the gal that I was talking to said - sometime the seals stick like that I was not happy with that response.
so, I took the heads to a local shop to have the seals changed out. when then shop got to them I got a call to come down to see what was going on. the valve hade lots of slop side to side and the bronze or brass was shot!
Indy is no help so after spending a ton on buying the heads from Indy and now having to spend another 800.00 on a set of heads with only 5000 miles all street miles no race stuff. I am putting the word out to be careful with Indy.

Ouch! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I had always considered Indy to be a quality head from an honorable and reliable company. Now, maybe not. I have always believed that how you handle our mistakes is more important than the mistake itself. And Indy handled it poorly. If they won't stand behind their heads I won't buy them.

For Best Results - Kick’em right square in the 1 Star Google Nuts. Upload photos of Indy’s poor workmanship there as well, and let the magic of Google Reviews set public tone. Check back later, you’d be surprised how a bad review spreads like wildfire.
