Hey all, I'm going to run an electric power assist master cylinder and need to figure out a way to mount it. The master cylinder is a standard 2 hole but I have multiple holes on the firewall. It's been a while since I took the car apart and of course I can't find the plate I had. Does anyone know where I can get one so I can mount the new master? Also, what do I do with the two studs sticking out above? I was thinking I could cut them, spot weld and grind flush?

I think I have the plate you need but you'll still need the adapter that Xcudame posted the link to.

I believe you still need the two studs above to help support the engine wire harness if you intend to install one.

Got it. I don't plan on running my wiring that way so I guess I can cut & weld them. Is there a good source for the plate and adapter bracket?

Before you cut them off, check inside.
I believe the structure supporting the pedals use those bolts.
The whole support plate on the engine side, is for reinforcement.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. I could always weld that area under the dash to the firewall as well.

Xcudame posted a link to order the adapter and my plate is the exact same type as the above picture. You're welcome to the one I have for the cost of shipping.
