Ok, So, this poor thing has a bit of history that I was told and I have a few pic's of it before my wife and I became its new owners.
It came out of Arizona, so it's a rust free 1970 Challenger, but Someone there in the 1980's thought it would be a great idea to make a custom show car out of it,.. and they failed miserably.
They commited sacrilege, they reformed the nose and then They covered the interior in a gray tweed material, I mean everything, dash, doorpanels, seats, ceiling all covered with tweed.
The engine had a tunnel ram rising through the hood. They cut the wiring harnesses and re-routed the ignition system to inside the right kick panel, (WTF?). they even spent the money to chrome all of the front suspension and drive shaft. There has been alot of head scratching and (WTF were they thinking?) discoveries.
So, I've been busy gutting out and replacing everything that they did wrong to it.
I'm making progress, but its going to take some time....and money! it will be awsome again.
