Motor Identification

Hey guys,
I have a supposed 360 crate motor in my '71 Challenger. The casting number is 4006830-360 and the date is 7-3-79. I can't find a VIN so maybe it is a crate. I've searched the web and only found some generic information (like it is a 360). Any help on finding further information on this motor would be a great help.

the VIN should be just above the oil pan rail near the right engine mount , there is also a code stamped under the left side cylinder head at the top of the block on the front face
