Hello All!! I figured before I started deep diving into threads I would introduce myself first.

The Car: I have owned a 1971 Challenger R/T since 1988. It served it's duty as a bad ass high school and college ride! Was eventually turned into a street strip car and made a best pass of 11.29 @ 123 mph. By then I was a young buck in the Marines and couldn't afford the car after it broke a few parts. The car has sat idle for MANY years waiting for a full restoration. Well last year that project started!!! The car is now ready for the rotisserie. The matching 383 Magnum is torn down to parade rest and getting a full update. GREEN GO is the color

Me: 44 years old working in retail living south of Atlanta Ga.

I am hoping everything will come together on the car this summer. But money is running tight!!

Looks like we will make it as far as the interior and then it will have to slow down if my calculations are right.

I look forward to learning from some of the GURU's here and reading about everyones hot rods an experiences with them.

Oh ya...I am and always will be a MOPAR nut. Current Vehicles:
2011 Ram 1500 Sport
2013 Dodge Dart Limited
2014 Dodge Charger RT Max
1971 Dodge Challenger RT

Welcome! Beauty car and glad you're keeping the 383!

Welcome, good luck with your project and keep us up to date. Yes, thanks for your service.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Is Green Go the original color? Interior color? Let's see some pics and hear some more details.

I am also new to this site. Very helpful bunch of folks here. Nice to see you still have your "71. I drove mine every day from 72-83. Never and I mean never failed to get me home, snow, flood and every other possible stupid situation I put it in. Stored in 83 restored it in 2005. Thank you for your service and good luck with your car.
