Hello i am a new member , i have a 1974 Challenger with the rare burnished red paint code it was a 318 car , but a 440 now resides under the hood. I am in the process of restoring the car , i have owned a few nice rare Mopars in the past including a 1971 Challenger R/T with a lot of options to include a 383 magnum with 355 grs., small torque converter , elastomeric bumpers and yes the opera window in the back which would esentially make it a special edition that was not supposed to be made, this car also had a console mounted cassete player with microphone , overhead console , and rear window defoger it was lemon twist yellow with black stripes i will be posting a picture of it later in my garage , unfortunately it was wrecked in the early 80's and i stripped it down and sold the body to a junk yard in Dallas , i would like to know if anyone rescued the car , at the time i didn't know what i had .
