One piece oil pan gasket (sealant?)

Hello Gang,
Got a '76 360 block. Fresh rebuild but the rear of the pan is leaking.
I just ordered a Milodon one-piece gasket from summit.
Can I put a little sealant in the corners?
Any recommendations are appreciated.

Milodon's website says a daub of silicone in all corners. Can't leak too little right ?
