So to start this off Ill go into detail about my ride. I bought one of my dreams cars, which was a Plymouth Cuda last month. Finally got around to picking it up last Sunday. Car is a 73 cuda with 340 A/T with 60,309 OG miles.

I plan on doing a fast build to get the car ready for spring/summer plans. The suspension is clapped out. Needs new quarters, floors are solid but some tiny holes. 340 is healthy but ill prob just end up swapping it. The goal of the car is daily driver and reliable with a solid performance setup. Doing a protouring setup for suspension. Im not sure how wild and complicated I want to get but im starting to figure it out. The car just needs a lot of tlc. As of Monday the 7th 2019 and first day under my hands. Car is already in body shop. Once that is done, I've hopefully decided whats best route for the build. Im not some mega rich guy, but i want to do the car right.

If you want to keep up with build and get more pics, check out my socials below. I cant wait to pull this off, since its been kinda of a long life dream ive worked really hard to get. Really excited to share with you guys.

Must have been sitting in a field or in grass. The bottom of that car looks scary.
Interesting to see a column shift E body.

Looks like you are off to a great start and a plan to get it finished. Lot of body work there to get it ready for other work by spring.

You know, the pictures make it look worse than what it looks like in person. We vacuumed it out before we put it on trailer and it changed look of it a lot. Underneath a lot better in person. It was just a really dirty car. I was scared too, but most is surface rust. Suspension parts, tank, are all rusty, but brakes looked good but I never planned on keeping any of it. It just needs a lot of grinding and surface treatment. Cleaning. Most of those parts but shell mainly, are getting replaced.

Looks a lot like my 73 which I picked up in Chicago last spring. If you've got a rear sway bar, pay attention to the area under the frame brackets. Could be a nasty surprise. If you are swapping the engine out, keep me in mind. You are moving a lot faster than I am. I got it running/driving but the bodywork is going to probably be a couple years to get done.

Yeahhhh. Lots of rust up here. Beautiful car though, gl on project. No rear swaybar. I ordered all the trouble areas replacement parts and panels. Shop handling that as we speak. Anything that should get replaced, will be. Rest grinded though, treated and sealed. It needs some patch work for like 2-3 inch hole around engine bay. 3-4 inch on floor but rest of car is pretty solid. if we discover more, we will address as it needs. Im not trying to I guess rebuild a perfect, garage queen. Just get her solid and address any issues.

Who's doing the bodywork? I might have a couple jobs on mine I could use some help with and I haven't found anyone local that will touch anything that is more than ten years old. PM if you want.

I like the plans. Sounds like it will be a hell of a ride!

Was that car originally black? or white?
Black. I think im doing a nardo grey or something a long those lines. I dont want the trouble of trying to keep a black car perfect. Also puts more stress on body work. Im building the best car I can, but also not going so crazy, its something I dont drive. Im not into show queens. I want it to be one of my dailys. Drivers car.
