Quarter panel chrome trim for convertible For Sale on ebay (not mine)

The top of quarter panel molding set is for sale on ebay
looks to be in great shape for someone who could use it.
Better condition then my originals; seller looking for $225

I need these, but $225 is too much. I have repros on back order with yearone for about $70. My originals have a hole drilled for a snap.
Were snaps original for the boot cover all around the boot trim? All my snaps were removed for a boot cover with plastic clips. I've installed repros of the 3 trim pieces without holes for snaps.

No snaps at all on my 70. Only 3 on the rear inside panel. None on the trim.

Yes, that is where mine is headed. Just 3 snaps on the inside panels, plastic clips for the trim moldings. I'll have a nice set of the moldings available with holes for snaps drilled in them, if anyone is interested.

Same for ‘71, no snaps on the outside.
