Rear window clip on a 70 challenger question

hi, I had a new vinyl roof put on and there seems to be some difference in the original and some aftermarket chrome clips. The original is the taller one on the right and the new one is the shorter one on the left. It seems like the new shorter one is going to be too short to allow the chrome to engage or maybe dent it trying to get the chrome to attach. Anyone have any history with this? I hate to put the glass in and then find out the clips are no good. Thanks in advance

I have no experience but I agree that appears to be the wrong clip.

Tried it in the widow channel and just looks too low. Didn’t want to put the glass in and then find out they are no good

The original clips can be seen in the last picture. Get correct style.

Are those your originals or did you get replacements. If replaced do you remember where they came from? Thanks
