yes Robert, again you are correct. A quick update. the repair on the pillar post. The 6th time on for fit. and all on the car. A coup;e of small patches to make for the driver side, and let the body work begin. Hey Hoot, I need door pins and bushings asap. movin' and groovin', hopin' I don't run out of luck!!!!!

just a quick update on the Challenger, slowly but surely she is getting there. will be blasting soon. bodywork to commence upon the completion of that. the front end bushings are shot, but the balljoints and tierod ends look pretty good.more to follow.....

that metal and rust looked like it was ugly to repair, but car looks good with all the primer and straight sheet metal now. Is the next pictures we see going to be the color on the car?
 
no, sadly no. there is so much stuff to do yet. i'm still working the doors,valences, deck lid, grille shell, yada,yada,yada....... but i will show you something you will like.....

Great work, nice restoration thread too very help full!

What is the white sealant you are putting over the weld seams?
 
thanks alot road/track. the white stuff is 3M seam sealer. nothing really special. i do this on all the seams in the whole car. the factory used an aplicator with a brush attatchment. i just use my fingers. but i have in the past used a damp brush to get the same look. anyways, here is todays update........anyways, you get the idea.

Great will get it on the way. Most likely see you Tues or Wed. of this week. Soon as I get the wiring harness will bring it and the battery tray to you.
