Treating blasted metal

so I am curious what people would tread freshly blasted metal. I prime and paint items that are black but what about something like a spindle?

Depends on if it for storage or for immediate use. If for use, just use the normal grease that you are going to use, if storing, any grease or even a bucket of motor oil will work.

For a spindle, steering gear, and other bare look items I use a Cast Iron colored spray paint.

I'm not an OEM guy, so I just pick a color at the powder-coaters. They have a bunch of stuff that is very similar to OEM, also.
