Yes, correct, i am an idiot. 73 904 AT, what damage if any was caused? Car drove fine after incident from a dead stop.

Mopar transmissions are tough , probably no damage , as you said it runs fine , I have heard of them being shifted into reverse at highway speed without damage just a lot of tire smoke !! Highly Not recommended though !!

Transmission is fine. As Chryco Psycho said, they're pretty tough. Just don't make a habit of it.

I've been looking, but can't find the torqueflight commercial, where the whole time, they're doing forward to reverse slams. Think it was with Arthur Godfrey.

The factory slap stick shifter makes it hard to do that without holding the button down.
Practice in the driveway with the engine off. A really good shifter.
