72 Barracuda aircon removal, new belt routing??

I am pretty much a beginner when it comes to working on small block mopars.

I purchased the car a few months back, and imported to Australia.

I have removed the air conditioning and now I need to put on shorter belts to run my alternator.

I have run into trouble as now the shorter belts will rub on the underside of the fan .....

can someone please help.

You are probably going to need non a/c pulleys for the water pump, alternator.

You need a different water pump pulley (one that is deeper) and a longer belt to go around the water pump, crank, and alternator.
