Hey members, I've been a Harley tech for 25 years. Owned a 73 challenger as a youngster and now have a chance to own a72. It needs a complete frame off and will get it. It will be a family project. I Have worked in the auto body industry briefly also but have never done a complete. We do have attention to detail and will be looking forward to all the info on this forum.

Hey, I used to own a Harley as a teenager, 68 flh.
Man, in my book Harleys ARE Road Kings.
I think restoring a challenger with your kids is a great way to teach them about the spirit of America in the early 70s. Ahhh... , it all seemed so innocent.
Welcome and Good luck with your project.
Ps
Don't be surprised. If you can't un-bolt the frame off your challenger!

Welcome fron New Jersey.
It's great to be able to share the build with your kids.
Great way to get the younger generation involved in the hobby.

Welcome aboard ,make sure you start a restoration thread
Will do! The car is a driver so, the boys, my twin 12 years olds, want to run some. The documentation and subsequent disassembly wouldn't be till next summer.

Welcome aboard. Remember lots of pictures, lots of baggies, plenty of shelf space, Rent/build, buy a rotisserie ( has no frame ) service and assembly manuals. Be prepared before you start. Organization is key.

We love pictures and have a lot of info available in our old posts. Just do a search if you have questions.
Again, Welcome aboard

I plan on filing a couple of flash drives with pictures for documentation.
