I'm, Not to excited about installing a oil pan that sets below the K Frame.

What kind of oil pan have you used......or built.

And what kind of pickup for the oil pump/pan that are larger diamiter.

I want to keep plenty of oil fed to this stroker.

the larger pick up tube is not all that important compared to having baffles & crank scraper to keep the oil in the pan & the pick up covered . I added boxes to both sides of a stock pan & widened it rather than lower it, it held 10 qts & worked great !!

Thanks Chryco.
You don't have any pic's of it do you?

No pix sorry , I built it back in 85
I welded baffles inside to prevent the oil from sloshing away from the pick up inside the pan

Any one else with a sugestion for a pan, Home made, or bought $$ ?

How about a large pick up tube?

I used a 1/2 inch pickup tube and it caused more problems than it is worth. I got it to work but I would not do it again. My engine is a 440 block 512 stroker.

If I had a suggestion, get the Hemi pan and 3/8 pickup tube from 440 Source.

I am assuming you are using a 440 block also.
