Hey All,

It's almost time to get another Mopar. My first is a '93 Dodge W250 (4x4) w/ the Cummins 6BT and a Getrag 5sp. I've been wanting a muscle car since I was in middle school back in the early 80s, but it never quite materialized for one reason or another. I'm a big road racing fan, both auto and moto, and have done some amateur motorcycle road racing at Willow Springs, outside of Los Angeles, and some auto-crossing in a '94 BMW 325is . After thinking about things for 3-4 months, I decided on a Mopar, just because they're so damn interesting and cool. Another couple months down the road, I decided on an E-body because of their Trans Am racing heritage. I'm still researching and thinking through what kind of E-body would make a good donor. I'm also considering how I want to set up the suspension and the motor. Ultimately, I'd love to take it to track days and maybe autoX. It's got to be a manual transmission.

I'm here to learn and socialize! Thanks for having me.

Welcome from Virginia. Sounds like you have a plan
I'm originally from Virginia and still miss it. In my childhood, I lived in Fairfax, then we moved to Charlottesville in high school, and finally ended up at Virginia Tech before moving to Washington state to join the working world. You're pretty close to VPI I think. Such a beautiful area.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. I might be be visiting the Racers Forum regularly.
