Hi Guys have a 70 Cuda originally running a 340 and now have a 440 in her brought some shorty hedman headers from classic industries and they don't fit without modifications anything out there that will just bolt up.
    cheers

TTI's work well without modification. Only issue is with fast ratio pitman and idler arms, if you have them. Standard steering, no problems.

Always the same 2 choices , TTI which fit very well & are high Quality , second best is Dougs , anything else will cause you problems one way or another . Neither are cheap but you get what you pay for , I have installed a lot of TTI headers & generally order them ceramic coated with the thermal barrier , & I talk to Mike there !

And if you have fast ratio pitman and idler arms?

I have no recommendations with the longer steering arms , they will interfere with virtually any header , I would still call TTI & talk with them

I run TTI long tube headers with no issues. I can get you the part number if you would like. I’m running eddy heads, angled plug holes. It’s tight but, everything clears.

Can you comment on how the non-polished ceramic finish holds up over time compared to the polished versions? Harder to clean? I like the look of the matte finish but if they are harder to get oil and dirt off of I'd go with the polished.

I bought part number 02-TTI440-178C4 (1-7/8 ceramic coated w/TB) and (0200-RED30x30x5a-440) angle reducer set, they have been on the motor 10 years and look pretty dang good. I have never washed the engine but, I don't use mine like many of you guys do. Just don't have the time. Overall it's the best set of headers I've owned. I paid 714.85 and that was 100.00 off due to a buddy at Time Machines in Tampa. Bought them directly from TTI. let me throw this in. I did a BB 69 camaro for my boss several years ago and used Hooker shorties. Sent the Headers and the entire exhaust system to JETHOT. I have to say, those guys do a great job. It's pricy though. Crap, everything is though. If you want a pic of mine, I can send. Just let me know.
