I imported a 1970 needing complete restoration from Ca this summer. Work progressing well and so impressed with the basic condition. Only a couple of rust holes around windshield and drivers floor - trunk floor is shot. I am used to rusty cars here and the car is completely in pieces and only 4 bolts sheared. (all three on waterpump). It was a base Western Sport Special with a 6 cylinder but now has a 440, 727 which was seized after non running for 35 years. Now running and seems good. I am retired and a self taught home mechanic. My last 3 year project was a V12 T Bucket ground up build.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! How about some pictures of both your current project and your last one? I think we’d all like to see a T bucket with a V12 in it!

Previous post shows pics as requested. I built the T Bucket at home entirely by myself to comply with UK legislation. It is fully road legal

Yes - Vector VN475765 wheels.

Sweet! You could probably fetch some good money for those to someone building another "General Lee" clone. Looking forward to seeing the progress on your Challenger. Please keep us updated...
