Climate change?
It's wide spread all over the state. Only 2 seasons now in PA.
Winter & Construction !!! It hasn't changed since very early spring when everything turns orange.

Here in Arizona they can work on the roads pretty much year around. And some of the roads need it! I can't think of a single time I've drove into Tucson (or Phoenix) that there wasn't road construction going on.

I-10 in Arizona sucks! I could sit in a car blindfolded and literally tell right when we crossed the state line from New Mexico into Arizona! New Mexico has it's I-10 problems too though. The issue is that I-10 has some of the highest volume of commercial carriers in the country and those trucks are hard on the roads.

Not that familiar with I-10, but I-40 (merged with I-30) between Little Rock and Memphis is maddening.....I'm seen a great deal of this great country and that 100 mile stretch of road is insane with how many trucks travel it.

Until the weather gets bad in the winter, guess where the truckers go then? When the weather gets bad up north the volume of commercial trucks gets insane down here on I-10.

Parallel to I-10 is the second cross continental railroad built to bypass icy/snowy conditions up North. It's why the Gadsden Purchase was made from Mexico in 1854.

Is the "blue" because it's still frozen and they can't do road work yet?
It cold be! I did see a a pile of snow beside the garage.

Old man winter is not done with us yet. Some of the worst snow jobs have come in March. I have seen snow lay on the ground here in the fist week of May.
Really need that humor button back.🥶

I never really gave that a serious thought. Well it's true. A fresh water treatment plant I did some worked there. The water is still froze over. The plant is between the two bodies of water. There are eight others. In the month or so there have been two train derailments in the same spot. It was shown on the news and I seen the ice! SOB! This screen shot it can't be seen to good. But with HDTV it shows. We had 50's and 60's for the last week. Shortly it's going back to the 30's for a while. like normal.

It's been an uncharacteristically warm and dry winter here. No snow on the ground until almost 7k foot, I've been working outside with just a tshirt for weeks. Last year at this time I was still having frozen hoses and having to hand carry water to the garden and the chickens. Maybe letting the Challenger idle all winter was a good idea! :D
