Why yes they did! The Tigers are my team, and they get to go play the Yankees. Tough place to play, New York, but last time we met them in the play-offs, we kicked their @ss's. If Texas would have lost 1 more or Detroit win 1 more we could of had home field, oh well. If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best.

Don't feel bad for me. Win, lose, or draw the Yanks will still be my team.
I tell the wife I could care less if they lose every game they play through the season as long as they beat Boston in the 19 games they play. :laughing7:
But it's more fun to watch 'em beat Boston for the AL East title.

Yeah, now if they didn't use up all the runs they needed for game five.
Seems like this is a good season for playoffs. All the LDS's except for Tampa/Texas has been pushed to five games. Anyone wanna predict that both LCS's go seven?
