Had to clear a tunnel ram, dual dominator carbs and 2 fogger kits so I came up with the super shaker idea. Stretched the hood opening length by 3", stretched the base and bubble 3" also. Raised the height 4-1/2" and opened up the nostrils 2-1/2" taller.

Hood was just bolted on for pictures. It is all aligned nicely to the fender line and gaps now.

Thanks guys. I think the finished product looks and functions well. I like it and think the effort was worth it for something different since I didn't want some pro stock scoop or 6" cowl induction hood.

In testing we learned that the Hemi Shaker cudas would make more power with the bubble removed & would ahve to be retuned with the bubble on , to make matters even worse inserting the grilles into the shaker reduced flow even more , , the bottom line is the shaker restricts air flow to the engine & makes more power without it so anything is an improvement to flow & power , , if the opening are anywhere near stock size you may want to enlarge them .
Good job BTW

Openings are more than 2-1/2 times as tall as compared to the stock openings and widen slightly as well.

Great work! Do you have room for any air filters or is that not really a concern / more track car?

Yes, there is room for air cleaners for street and I run these screens on the track.

You did a great job! That base had to clear a lot of stuff to work!!

Final wash of the year and put away for winter.
