This 440 six-pack is a project but one that my nephew, the car restorer, thought worthwhile. The only downside is he has to complete restoring his '69 Boss 302 before he gets around to my car. Patience.
No, the blue is a primer. The original color is deep burnt orange (FK5) as are the bucket seats and rear seat. The engine block and cylinder heads are separate and no carbs. The car was an automatic but we're going to put a 4 speed in it. My nephew said this is most of the fun of driving a muscle car. I don't know what kind of rear end we'll install. I have the broadcast sheet and fender tag and I've decoded the tag. One interesting detail is the 'longitudinal stripe delete'.Nice project Challenger RT
Appears to be in relatively good condition and all intact.
Good luck with the resto
Looks to be B7 blue, a rare color for a Challenger.
440-6 Challengers are unique and rare themselves.
Is the 440-6 engine all intact, carbs intake?
Is the car an automatic or 4 speed? And 4 speed six pack cars often came with a dana 60 rear.
Did you look for a build sheet?
Would like to hear more about your car.
