Hey guys new here. Just bought a 73 Challenger Rallye last week. Huge Mopar guy, I have 3 Jeeps and another newer Challenger. 20 Year Military, Army Signal Officer (Retired a Major O-4). Lifelong Idahoan, Idaho Falls area.

The car is a Rallye with a Crate Magnum 360/380HPO/410TQ Motor with a Holley 750 4B Carb. TTI Headers and 3'' Exhaust with Flow Master Mufflers. Unfortunately, it's a auto with a newly rebuilt 727 trans. 323 Posi in the rear.

Plans with the car are to get it road worthly, needs new tires, moving up to 15'' wheels (going to keep the orig 14s), fix a bunch of electrical grelmins and get it repainted. Planning on keeping it the original color and redoing the Rallye pin striping.

-C. Dodge (my last name is Dodge, yes distantly related to Horace and John)

From a fellow Idahoan (recent), 73 Rallye owner (10+ years), and military vet (not recent - they are retiring my jet), welcome to the show. Where did you pick up the car? Looks very clean.

Welcome to FEBO from the desert! Nice 73 Challenger! 727 Torqueflite is a tough transmission.

The conspiracy side of me still thanks Henry Ford did away with Horace and John Dodge because he owed them so much!

Welcome aboard Sir, from the birthplace of the Republican Party. Nice ride, best wishes on your project.

It was in the Idaho Falls area for the last 20+ years. Only driven 5,000 miles. They had bought it at auction in 2002 down in Vegas, car came from California. So, I'm the 3rd owner?

:welcome: aboard.
Electrical gremlins are Mopar's middle name.
Bite the bullet and get new wiring harnesses. Clean grounds are the ticket.
727 is a great transmission, if you want more low end scoot go to a little lower rear gear ratio. Trans go TF-1 shift improver kit is a must.
