Good question, I've not seen the L2 on a tag before but it is unlike any other code for a date that I've seen Ma Mopar use.

I know this is an old post but worth a try. I recently purchased a 74 Barracuda KB1, was curious if there is a way to find out how many were produced? It also has the L2 as previously discussed. Also wondered if there were any update photos of his progress on rebuild?

Welcome to the site from Arkansas! 👍🏻
Nice project!
I happen to have one similar to how yours was born. I’ve owned the the since the mid 80’s. I like em all but, built this one my way. 500 stroker, six barrel, Tremec 5 speed, 3.91 sure grip.
Look forward to seeing your progress.
