no dash lights

ok first my headlamp switch when i turned on the headlamps the parking and tail lights would go off.I took the switch apart and cleaned it that worked but I still don't have any dash lights come to think of it I don't think I have power to the gauges either. any help

Check the grounds, These helped me.

check the ground on the dash were the switches are. if you look under the dash you will see it right side under heater control.

From memory the dash indicators are connected in parrallel with the rear indicators connector in the L/H kick panel so if the rear indicators are working then the link between the rear indicator & the dash indicators is open it looks like they are parralleled at the indicator switch on the light green & tan wires.
This of course is assuming you have a good ground at the indicator light.
