I loved the old front-drive mopars. I haven't had one for awhile, and this one was destined to be mine. I saw it out driving in the salt and snow today, and it was for sale. The guy had some immediate financial issues, and was driving it to dealers to sell it[he only had it for a few weeks]. It's seen 2 days of winter....and was in a collection for the last 10 years, and it's prior owner was a 90 year old guy in Virginia before that. I felt bad for the guy, but I also think we'll end up being friends. Seems like a good guy, who make an expensive mistake. I think we've all done dumb things.

Takes me back. My dad retired from Chrysler and we had all the cars from that era as company cars and P.E. vehicles. That was about the time I started driving.

Time warp. Most of those kids got a hold of them and destroyed them.in the mid 80's I had a merkur xr4ti and those could almost keep up with me.
