I found this while searching the internet and WOW it really works! Here is a link for anyone interested in trying it. http://antique-engines.com/electrol.asp#wash-soda I used this method on a mounting bracket for the end links on a rear sway bar setup. Here are a few before and after photos once I took it out of the solution after only 4 hours hosed it off with water and hit it with a wire brush thats it.
I started to sandblast an extra vapor separator I have and put a few pinholes in it :mad:. If I knew of this before I tried to blast I think it would have been ok on a somewhat delicate part.
