I know the typical answer is that a car is worth exactly what someone would pay for it...but I wanted to get some thoughts on what I should list my 70 Challenger for. It's time to unload it and make some space for my convertible.

It's originally an FC7 383 2 barrel. I put in a early 70's motor home 440 block, edlebrock heads, 440 source stroker kit (512ci) and a new 6 pack set up. It has a Dana 60 out of a B-body and a 26 spline 4 speed. Overall the car is a good cruiser, the body/paint isn't perfect but it looks good. Take a look at the pictures and let me know what you guys think is a good asking price.

There are also some vids in the dropbox link if you're interested.

It's very nice but I have no idea of its value. I'm assuming it didn't have its original engine when you got it?

No, the original engine wasn't in it. It had a different 383 in it. I do have the original 383 2 barrel in storage. It has a spun crank bearing. I dont have the original auto trans for it though.

It is a nicely set up car, for a non-R/T I think b/t 25 & 30 is a fair price.. for a quick sale; assuming the floors and trunk are rust free. Just my opinion.

CT, right next to the main UConn campus. A little less than an hour away from Mohegan where the Barrett Jackson auction is.

Was it originally optioned with colored wheels and white stripe and interior, or was that a personal choice? Looks nice.

Any interior pictures?

Car looks really nice.
Hard to find Challengers in good driver condition or better.
The 6pk alone would be a good selling point.
I agree with the other comments, the car should bring at least 25K+ if the floors and body are in good condition.
Good luck with the sale!

High impact color, stroker 6pack. If bugs are worked out, pans are good and it comes with the original block + parts, it might bring 32K (list 34.9). Restomods are pushing prices, your 440 swap puts you in a higher ballpark.

I would think 30 to 35 should be doable assuming the interior looks as good as the exterior.
