I have 14 inch Rallye wheels. What is the best way to measure the width of the rim without removing the tire? I need to order beauty rings but I need to know if the rim is 6 or 7 inches wide. Thanks

Check the part number by the valve stem.

Typical factory installed 14" Rallyes were 5.5" or 6" wide.
With the wheel off of the car you can feed a tape measure through one of the oval shaped holes in the center of the wheel and measure the rim width easily. But 7" were not available as standard.

The outer lip adds .5" to each side, so a 6" wide wheel is 7" when measured from outer lip to outer lip. So, measure the outside dimension and subtract one inch.
