I'd like to hear some feed back also. I have a 440 and have been thinking of trying it myself.

They similar to the Lunati VooDoo Cams , there is only so far you can go with a .906 diameter lifter without catching the edge so the ramp can only be so steep , however it is smart to take advantage of the wider lifter to maximize ramp speed & get the valve open as fast as possible, VooDoo & Whiplash do take advantage of the wider lifter instead of just copying Chev grinds onto Mopar blanks . Personally I use Lunati grinds , easy to deal with , Hughes not so much .

The Hughes camshaft will make more power/torque but you're going to give up some drivability. The 107 deg LSA will produce a choppy idle and lower vacuum. Not really a big issue, but you should take note especially if you have power brakes. I have a Hughes grind in my 360 and love it. It's a little more aggressive than your whiplash cam profile and my car pulls pretty good. I also run a 2000RPM Hughes Converter (different Hughes), 3.23 gears and 26" tires. A steeper gear/looser converter would help pull it out of the hole better.
